To
the Pavao Family,
Today, you will gather
to honor a man who was a beloved husband, father, son,
brother, nephew and cousin, who gifted the world with his smiling
presence and his wholehearted music.
Today, although I am
physically far away, I join you in remembering Dennis, his life,
and what he meant to us as one who knew him as as a friend and
classmate in Puna, before the world discovered him.
This website is a
friend's and classmate's way of paying tribute to him. His
life was a gift to me, and I wish to sincerely thank him for his
generous and continuous giving of himself to us, even after we
left our sweet corner of the island to go our separate ways in the
world. He will live on in our hearts, minds, and thoughts, and his
legacies -- his music and his children -- will continue to gift
us.
Bless you in this time
