| This is Hokkaido. It reminded me so much of Ontario in the winter. The roads were wide with snow banks higher than the roof of our bus. Unlike Ontario, the intersections were heated using the natural hot springs being piped in. So the road would be covered in a layer of snow and when you arrived at an insection, it seemed like spring! I also went to see the Snow Festival (Yukimatsuri) in the capital, Sapporo. |
