| The bottom picture shows another aspect of the footpath as you make your way to the Base Camp. These buildings are lodges/inns. It was incredibly cheap to stay here (about $1-$2 per night.) Food was also quite cheap. The menu selection was good, but since their kitchens are small, one meal is prepared at a time. Hence, some advice: if you travel in groups, it is quicker to order the same food. (You will also help them save on fuel which must be carried up.) |
