In this photo, courtesy of the Canadian Embassy in Lagos, Nigeria, I was interviewed on Nigerian Television's Morning Nigeria.
At the beginning of the interview, I publicly thanked the border guards that fascillitated my entry into Nigeria (for they were very hospitable.) The host of the morning show (on the left) dropped his jaw in utter disbelief... for these same border guards were notorious for corruption and even "cutting off your finger to get your ring" and no one had ever praised them before especially for doing their job!
After this interview, I cycled out of the studio and was escorted to the outskirts of Lagos... where I was shot...just kidding. From there, I waved good-bye to my escort and headed for Cameroon.
