    Here, I attended mass in a local school. Father asked me to say a few words (with a translator) about why I was in South Africa.
     During the petitions when individuals would mention what they would like the congregation to pray for, there were several women crying passionately as they spoke.
     After mass, I asked Father what were they crying about and he told me it was because of me. They couldn't believe that a white man would go through Africa visiting projects for the poor especially for people he never knew. This was beyond their personal experience.
