From the Zairian jungle, all through Zambia, Zimbabwe and finally until Johannesbourg, I could not take any photos due to my damaged camera from a fall in the "pot-hole from hell."
These pictures were taken by a Swiss who I met in northern South Africa. Wolfgang Hauf crossed the border several hours after me. We met at a rest area and cycled together. He was the second cyclist I met and travelled with. Unfortunately, I only cycled for a day and half with this master yodeller. Our portrait together was taken with the camera's self-timer.  He headed east, up the road behind us. I turned left back onto the main road and headed south to Pretoria.
