Miles today: 22.3 miles

This will be a short entry today, as I don't know where I'll be camping tonight. It's 7:05 P.M. and I'm in The Pen-Mar County Park. Unfortunately you are not allowed to camp here, so I'll move on down the trail a little, I guess.

I was originally going to stay at the last shelter I passed some five miles back, however, the shelter was located .4 mile downhill and as I had just climbed it, I didn't feel like going down to have to climb out in the morning.

I got a cold drink from the vending machine here and am just having my Lipton's pasta with garlic sauce for dinner.

It's a fantastic view over the Maryland farmlands from here. I'd take a photo but I think the glare of the setting sun would spoil the shot.
