Augst 23, 2005: I've had enough of Rogers and Geocities

This content is all being moved to http://davidscrimshaw.blogspot.com/

And that is where all my new non-Scribbles content will be going.

June 15, 2005: Just finished adding all the “selected content” to the Scribbles site that I plan to add until #17 comes out. Except for a few more illustrations maybe. I don't draw as much now that I'm not spending 9 to 12 hours a week in lectures. I'm going to have to put out #17 soon because I have several exciting new inventions to share with the world.

June 6, 2005: Current Obsessions: Clean Sweep, Ottawa Blogs, Francis Heaney (check him out, he's fantastic); and trying to use free software and this Rogers/GeoCities webspace to create a half-decent website. Any tips would be welcome!

Oh, and I'm planning to bill Rogers for the GeoCities ad. I'll let you know how that goes.

May 9, 2005: I've been at home sick all day watching home improvement TV and reading a good pirate adventure. Just had enough of an energy spurt to mess around a bit here.

Michael Dennis gave a reading for his new book on Friday night. It was great. I brought along a bunch of people who had no knowledge of his work and they really enjoyed it too. His web page has said it's under construction for a long, long time, but it's still got a lot of his work there. You should read some.

April 26, 2005: If this was a Blog, I'd be reporting that today is my last day of studying for this academic year and I'd be giving you this as my legal quote of the day and a good example of why it's sometimes worth going to Quicklaw for the full judgment instead of just reading the excerpt in the case book.

From Miles v. Marshall (1975) 7 O.R. (2d) 544 (SCJ) “I think I can take judicial notice of the fact that a horse is usually longer than a cow and could not comfortably stand in a cow stall,…”

I'd also be raving about the Lynn Miles performance at the Magic 100 studio last night and how terrific her new album is. But this isn't a blog, and I do have that exam tomorrow.

March 30, 2005: This site's been offline for a while because school work interfered with transferring from Rogers to GeoCities (thanks, Rogers). It may be a while before all the pages and graphics are back up.

In addition to charitable trusts, the mitigation of damages and the separation of powers in a federal state...

my current obsessions include the Hipster PDA and Brass Band Music
