I would like to go to Maine this Summer. There isn’t much of a chance of it. At work we’re suppose to be busier through the summer. At home the children are keeping everyone on their toes. Two of them ‘Don’t like Maine !’ That’s kinda like saying you don’t like to breathe fresh air .. see a sunrise .. talk with an old friend .. it’s just plain wrong.
{rant}How can anyone not like Maine in the summer? It’s about the wonderful long afternoons at the beach, the beautiful evenings, eating seafood at any number of restaurants .. the non-stop activities of summer .. the blueberries… and I don’t mean the kind you buy from BestBuy that come with a rechargeable battery, nor do I mean the ones you buy from the grocery store. I mean the kind that grow wild in Maine and are just there ripened and ready to be eaten. Then there are ponds .. or lakes if you prefer. You can swim in the ocean, be rinsed off by a warm summer’s rain, swim in the lake, dry out in the sun and still be wearing the same comfy summer attire you put on that very morning. And if a restaurant wants shoes and shirts for service. T-shirts and flip-flops count. It’s just that nice. How can anyone ‘ not like Maine’?{end rant}

I just wish.
It would be nice, it would be wonderful, it would be… We’ll move on from here now .. where were we ? … oh yes.. Maine. I’d like to go to Maine this summer. I haven’t been since we buried the pictures.
I think that Maine would be good for me. I could unwind the pages of the last two years .. I could rest for the upcoming ones .. I could see beauty and warmth . I could get closer to being whole again.
… and the Prince charged into the Dragons Liar just in time to see the damsel vanish into the blue mist of wishfulness.
