by cb_13 Last night the Bar. horde returned to NM/tristan with the intention of righting wrongs and kicking butt.King Sparta led Animal,Oof,& Skull on a quest to the first level of nightmare hell. On 13 the Bars were attacked by red worms & to thier suprise they found they had grown much more powerfull since there last trip to these levels. Now 4 Bars proved to be the equal of 9 worms! The bars Ruled on 13!! Feeling pumped by this easy victory we decided to push downward to 14 where we incounterd more worms (gold) this time & thier wizardly masters. The wormage on this level was far stronger then on 13 but with normal hard headed Barishness we pushed on and did full clear of 14. Congrats to Sparta who Leveld up to 41. After some disscussion 15 was invaded. More worms (azure) and more of thier wizardly masters. Heh a wormy game!!Blood Lust fell early near the stairs up. Many valliant acts were done and will be told of around the tables of ogdens for years to come. The brave bars battled on to lazs room and with bow and sword assulted the vile chamber till all ran with blood and none but Bars remaind standing! Pushing on in search of the pentagam we ended up clearing most of 3/4 of lvl 15 before venturing down to the final level.  The BAR's are sucked down to Diablo :o) On the final level of this dungeon we emeraged next to the outer wall of the maze room after establishing a foothold in a small side room the brave bars dashed in and opened the switch to the maze room then proceded to empoty the maze, all the while battling the Bk's who dared to approach our brave party. Many knights were lured to thier deaths in our little room including the boss of them all Gorash. They all fell before the Bar horde!  Gorash gets a whoopin! After many dashes thru a mage fire storm the final 2 switches were thrown and the Bars retreated to thier room once more to await the coming of *d*. Sparta the strong took it apon himself to walk to the deamons room and challenge him to the final show down. The monster had to think thrice about the call but finally worked up the nerve to eccept the challenge of the Bars. The first round he came with his body guard of many kinghts who were slain before the Bars had to regroup in town. Downward once more the lord of terror stood no chance at all and fell before swords of the Awsome Barbarion Kings.  Diablo is gronked!! The game took a total of 5.5 hours about half the time of our last trip to night mare diff. and we ended up spending almost 200k for pots and equipment with Peppin and Griz!! (And people say Wirt overcharges!) Some screen shots should be posted at darkmans lair. GRONK!!! Skull(BAR) |
