The Incredibles
Dir. Brad Bird
The question is: Has the movie company Pixar ever let us down? I mean, really, these are the people who brought us Monsters, Inc., and A Bugs Life. And the answer is --No! They have never let us down. Once again hitting it out of the ballpark, Pixar has given us The Incredibles. Aptly named, this is such a great, wonderful, and fun movie everyone in any sane state of mind is going to love it.

The Incredibles is about what happens when superheroes arent allowed to go around saving people anymore. You see, in the beginning superheroes saved the day, the people loved them, and all was right with the world. Then, like the first pebble of an avalanche, like the first ant at the picnic, like the first.whatever is the first bad thing leading to a bunch of bigger and badder bad things someone got saved who didnt want to be saved. He was also injured in the process of getting saved (which he didnt want in the first place) and this lead to a realization among the people of the world that there was no accountability amongst these superheroes. After congressional meetings, after trials and tribulations, after all the dust had settled, the world had decided that superheroes were not needed. They were given new lives, hiding their true selves. The most famous of the heroes was Mr. Incredible, who settled down with Elastagirl, and tried to live a normal life -- but living a normal life is hell on a man who was born to save people. So when, after years of sneaking out of the house to do clandestine rescues, a woman offers Mr. Incredible a job doing real superhero work, he jumps at it. And you know what they say about looking before leaping

One, this story has so many great characters in it, there is going to be SOMEONE you fall in love with. Two, the lines are hilarious, and quotable. And three, as an extra added bonus, you get to see how superheroes behave when they get married and have kids. All in all, definitely worth your time and money.

I rate it: Full Price

Craig T. Nelson as Mr. Incredible
Holly Hunter as Elastigirl
Samuel L Jackson as Frozone
Jason Lee as Syndrome
And Brad Bird as Edna Mode (my personal favorite.)
