Appearance: Ryaan is extremely large; easily the size of a large gold, if not larger, towering over even his siblings. His smooth-scaled body is bright golden, streaked with lightning-like stripes, almost making him resemble a golden tiger. The scales are a lighter yellow on his underside. A particularly large lightning bolt-mark passes directly over either of his eyes. His eyes are a startlingly bright, greenish-blue color, with slitted pupils. They are often at least partially hidden by his mane, however. His dark brown mane of hair starts on his forehead, making dark strands fall over his sharp, pointed face. The hair extends back, covering his long neck and stopping at the base of his neck and shoulders. He also has a short beard on his chin. He has three short, swept-back horns on either side of his head, and another short horn on his nose, all a dark black in color. His paws are large, with razor-sharp talons. His extremely long tail is tipped with a scythe-like blade. His wings are large and feathered, shaped like a bird-of-prey's.
Personality: Ryaan is bursting with wisdom and good-old common sense. He is extremely intelligent and sophisticated, though sometimes condescending or irritable. He is impatient with slow thinkers and hates to be corrected. He is inscrutably clean and well-groomed, and his living space is always neat and tidy. He is mostly solitary, preferring to keep to himself, and would likely spend much of his time in an old library-that is, if he could find one large enough for him to fit inside.
