Travel - Scotland

I have visited Scotland twice in my life and both visits were quite memorable.  The first visit was in 1991 during a two-week whirlwind tour of the UK.  My wife an I had four days to see as much of  the country as we could.  As you can imagine we only saw the more notable sights such as Loch Ness, Edinburgh, and Skye.  We were both quite taken with the beauty of the country and vowed to return some day for a more lengthy stay.  In 1998 we returned to Scotland with my mother and son for a 18 day visit where we had a chance to see more of the country at a relaxed pace.  We visited the the Borders, Edinburgh, the Highlands, and the Isles of Orkney, Skye, and Mull during our trip.
