MONN AND WILLIAMS EXTENDED FAMILIES
Daniel D. Monn Nov. 26, 1914-Dec.21, 1982  Marion L. Monn Jan. 28, 1918-Dec. 1980. Sons of Walter and Sarah Jane Williams Monn.  Dad, I know you would love this, you were always telling me stories of the family.
The information on these pages is sadly out dated. I have found that it is to hard to type everything in by hand and keep up with it. I have put all of the genealogy information on RootsWeb World Connect. I am going to leave the News, Notes, Obits, Picutes etc. on here. As I add more obits etc. I will be deleting the files on the genealgoy so please check my files at World Connect

When I first began I didn't have enough sense to cite my sources, now as time permits, I will be going back to do this.  Please take these pages as a starting point, most of it is fact, but like I said earlier, the Monn's aren't all in the right houses.  They were a real mess to try to figure out in the early days.  Everyone wanted to us the same first names, and then the German's liked to call their children by their middle names, which made things even harder.
I would enjoy comments and corrections and additions. If you find relatives, please let me know. I am not going to put everything on here and if you are family, I will be happy to share all that I have.
I have added a link for the Hopkins page. This is my husband's side.  We have laughed during this to see how many names we have in common.  If we ever get them connect to each other, we will probably be cousins. We have found a remote family connection on both of our Fahnestock line, but we aren't first cousins yet.  I have now connected the Gerard/Girard lines to both my lines and my husband's also. One of these days we will get them all connected. If you don't find the first name you are looking for in this file, go to my husband's line. Link below. We have lots of surnames the same, but haven't got them all connected.
On my mother's side I am sadfully lacking but add what information that I have on the Myers and Ross families
I have been trying to find the parents of Henry Ross for some time now. He was born Feb. 1885 in South Dakota and died Dec. 1931 in Galesburg, Knox Co., Il. He married Lillie Louise  Myers June 1909 in LaSalle Co., Il. From what I have been told, he was orphaned young and no ones knows who his parents where.
If anyone can help find his parents, I would appreciated it.
Please sign my guestbook and let me know what you think of the site, and if you were able to find family.

After 12 1/2 years of wonderful friendship and love, our darling Pandora has left us. Here she is trying to mooch food from her "Daddy". Craig was always better than me at not giving in to her . She would eat anything that we did. Olives was one of her favoirtes.
