Graduating cum laude from the University of Georgia, Curtis earned a bachelor's degree in risk management and insurance in 1976. His professional affiliations include memberships in the American Society of Chartered Financial Consultants and Chartered Life Underwriters. Curtis was selected by Cunard Cruise Lines to conduct seminars on estate planning and retirement planning.

Through consistent effort and a reputation of outstanding service, he has built a solid base of satisfied clients.

An Atlanta native, Curtis has been a volunteer coach for Little League Baseball teams, as well as serving on the board of various homeowner associations.In his leisure time, Curtis enjoys running, cycling, golf and travel. He and his wife Nancy, and their two children reside in Roswell, Georgia.
