| Gustavo Manduca has certainly got off to a flying start at Marítimo, since signing from Paços de Ferreira this summer. Having played in four games, the Brazilian left winger has scored in two games, against Glasgow Rangers and Sporting, with both goals sealing the victorys for the verde-rubros. The Brazilian admits that this is the best time of his life.
Since I have been in Portugal, this is the best time of my life, no only professional, but personal as well. I can announce the news that, since this morning (Tuesday), I found out that my wife is pregnant and that we await our first son. It is a sign that I have been blessed by God, claimed Manduca. | clearly, a good team and players with attacking characteristics, and so I believe that I can do better and improve my average of seven or eight goals in the Portuguese leagues. However I am not worried about the number of goals that I score, nor do I make great promises.
After scoring in Monday nights game, earning the 3 points for Marítimo at the José de Alvalade stadium, Manduca is certainly the man of the moment for the verde-rubros. Congratulations Gustavo!!
