In other news, Brazilian defender Ezequías has returned to training for the first time this season. Club doctors discovered that the young left back had cardiac problems during pre-season training. However after several examinations and tests back in his homeland, Ezequías has been deemed fit enough to return to training, though he will have to wait until January to play in matches again, as he had not been registered with the LPFP.
Manager Mariano Barreto looks to be starting tomorrows derby match with the same eleven players used in the 1-1 draw against Benfica last week. Both Węnio and Bibishkov are still unavailable due to injury, however after breaking his duck against Benfica, Brazilian striker Pena will look to be scoring more goals when the verde-rubros take on Nacional in the eagerly anticipated Madeira derby, at the Estádio Eng.° Rui Alves. The game kicks off at 21:30 pm and will be broadcast live on Sport TV.
