| The Bulgarian under 21 international, having scored 7 goals in 17 games for his country, was signed last summer (2004) as a solution to Marítimo's goalscoring problems. Nicknamed "Bibi", the striker was spotted by German scouts in a game between his club, Prim and Levski Sofia, where he scored two goals. Soon after, the 17 year old moved to Bayern Munich. The speedy striker never played in the first team, but was a regular in the B team. After two years at Bayern Munich, "Bibi" gained alot of experience but returned to his homeland in 2000, where he scored 36 goals in 86 games in the Bulgarian Premier Division, for Levski Sofia, Belasica, Beroe and Marek. |
