The Leg

In my dream I saw a caucasion woman who was missing a leg.  I watched as she took an artificial leg and placed it where her leg should have been. As she put on the leg I noticed a very small shriveled remnant of her natural leg. The artificial leg had the exact same skin tone as her natural leg and as it was put in place I realized that it being covered by clothing concealed its artificial nature. It appeared as if it should work as well as the natural one. I became concerned that as this woman was exposed to sunlight that the natural leg would get tanned and the artificial one wouldn't and this troubled me because this would expose the truth about the nature of the leg. I then noticed that the toes of the foot and the foot itself were totally  imovable and the knee joint was also incapable of movement. This leg in reality had no use whatsoever except to give the appearance to the woman of being whole.

Interpretation

I believe that the woman in this dream represents a church and her ethnicity identifies it further as a church in a western nation. I believe the missing leg represents serious error in the source of energy of this church. The fact that it is a leg missing indicates that the very force that this church relies on for its movement is not what the Lord intended. The fact that it is a birth defect rather than illness or injury that has caused this deformity indicates that this problem has been propogated long ago and passed on from generation to generation. The artificial leg, with its appearance of usefullness, seems to expose a reliance on something other than that which God intended, some other means of locomotion for the church. It looks very much like truth but is seriously flawed. My concern that the artificial leg would not receive tanning in the sun reveales that this issue that plagues the church will become apparent as the light of the true gospel shines on it. I believe this is also saying that as errors are held up to the Son and to the light of His Word they will be exposed and anything that is not right will be easily identified. These errors cannot be changed into truth as they are exposed but need to be replaced by truth. The further revealing of the imovability of the toes, feet, and knees reafirms the absolute uselessness of this leg and the area that it represents in the church. This church has been fooled for a long time to believe that an area of belief that appears to be good is actually great error that has been rendering this church ineffective.

I am going to take a great leap of faith here to put forward this thought: all that we do for God which does not originate in Him is of the spirit of the anti-christ, as it only serves to take Christs' place. The greek word translated as antichrist is better translated as; in place of,or for Christ and His annointing.
What I believe the Lord is saying is that we have learned to trust in our own natural strength rather than Him. We have twisted the meaning of the word wait into the word work. He speaks in great volumes throughout His word about waiting on Him about trusting in Him. What I believe the Lord is saying to us is that we are guilty of the sin of presumtion just as the Israelites were guilty of it when they decided, after all, to attempt to enter into the Promised Land (Numbers 14:44).
He is saying, "the time is soon upon you that you will come out of the wilderness into the land of promise. This has been available to you all along but you refused to believe. NOW I say to you believe in me and what I have prepared for you for as I have said in the past I am saying again, the Glory of the Lord will fill the whole earth and the whole earth will see the Glory of the Lord. I Am who I Am and I change not, my promises will not fail to those who believe. Hear my voice, it is the voice of one crying in the wilderness. Repent from your dead works and allow Me to rise up in you that I may use your hands, that I may use your lips, that I may use your feet to bring My good news to those who hunger and those who thirst after My righteousness. I have declared that those who hunger and thirst after My righteousness will be filled but it will only be as you speak by the power of my Spirit that they will be filled. Do not be ashamed of the words that I desire to speak through you, they are words of life, of hope, of justice for the downtrodden. Yield your whole being into My care and I will give you life that far surpasses anything you can imagine. The promise is not only for eternity but also for today that you may walk in the fullness of the resurrection life that I have purchased for you."
