Let No Man Therefore

Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a feast day or a new moon or a sabbath day: 17 which are a shadow of the things to come; but the body is Christ's.
We can continue to live in the shadows, of which Christ is the body, or we can live in Christ in whom dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
When we subject ourselves to living in traditions, in
Holydays, in rules or ideals that can be misunderstood and acted upon as if they were laws we live in the shadow of Christ. When we lay aside all of our tradition, all of our does and don'ts we begin to live in the fullness of Christ.
If we walk by law, by rules, by festivals, by times or seasons, by anything that includes works without faith, we are missing the best part. We are missing the fullness of the riches of the glory of Christ Jesus, the Holy and anointed one.
Do you want shadow? Or do you want what Jesus paid such a costly price for?
Look at a shadow and what do you see? Is there anything more than a mere outline of that which is casting the shadow?
I implore all who would hear His voice, all who are hungry and thirsty, let's stop living in the shadows when we can enter through the door and live in Christ!
  You ask, how?
Col 3:1 If then ye were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are upon the earth. 3 For ye died, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, [who is] our life, shall be manifested, then shall ye also with him be manifested in glory.
Let's rise up out of the shadows of meaningless tradition and Law and rise up into fullness of life by setting our sights on those things that are above, on the finished work of our (seated) Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
How much longer are you willing to hear to the question, "where is your God?" Shall we not take hold our inheritance, reckon our flesh dead and buried in Christ, and rise up in resurrection life to be the true salt and light of the earth? When will we say it is enough? I can no longer sit by and let my Jesus be maligned by the question, "where is your God?"
Where the light of God shines there is no shadow. Will we let the light shine to expose us and our mere tradition and pretense of Godly lives?
Who will join me as I say in all serious intent, shine Father, dispel the shadows in my life that the world may know that you sent your Son, and that He lives in me!!
