Eric comes from a family where is dad (Pavel Delektorsky) was Russian and his mum (Clorinda) was Cuban. His dad smuggled the family across to Florida. Thats where they changed the family name to Delko.
Eric graduated from the University of Miami with a swimming scholarship. He then took a science degree. He later on entered the MDPD police academy and became a swimmer to the MDPD underwater recovery department.
Since becoming a CSI, he has lost his best friend Tim Speedle and his sister Marisol.
He specializes in fingerprints and is a drug identification expert.
