Rockman Model Reviews

Note: All Rockman models require assembly but once put together are essentially an action figure.

Rockman (Megaman): Ultimate Armor

This figure comes from the X series and is a special armor one can get in the game. This armor is quite neat in that you can take parts off to form a jet for Rock to fly. However, because of this armor it makes him very hard to pose and rather useless to 'play' with. Yes I do actually play with my toys. This suit was also different from most of the previous ones as it does not come with a standard skeleton, this one is more like the regular Rockman series in that you actually put the body together. This doesn't seem to affect the figure at all, but I personally just like the skeleton frames better. It allows you to switch armors and such.

Rockman (Megaman): All X

This figure comes from the X series and is a special armor one can get in the game. This suit is also different from most of the previous ones as it does not come with a standard skeleton, this one is more like the regular Rockman series in that you actually put the body together. This figure is clear and has an enormous gun arm and a flashy armor design. Other than that the figure isn't that all that different from the previous armors.

Ride Armor

This figure is the biggest and best figure I own. The jewel of my collection this is the Ride Armor from the Rockman series. The armor is actually big enough to fit one of the other Rockman characters seated. The armor comes with accessories like: Various weapons (that store in a compartment of the fists of the armor) for Rockman to use, a set of gun-hands, and components to make two different armors (Chimera-walking and Hawk-flying). This figure is the biggest model I have, bigger than my 1/100 Gundam model. In the cockpit of the armor there are controls and levers (which the Rockman figure can grab and hold). Overall this figure is the best, in my opinion, that Bandai has ever done in the Rockman line.

Rockman (Megaman): Gold Max Armor

This figure is also from the X series and is also a special armor in the game (different games for one above). This armor is not different from Rock's max armor you can get in the game. In fact it is the same except its gold. In the game it allows one to have all the abilities, not one of  four. This figure is very nice and poses in a variety of positions, so much that naughty roommates might even-- well you can guess.

Rockman (Megaman): Silver Max Armor

This figure is also from the X series, but is not an armor found in the game. While being the same as the max armor it's silver instead of white.  This armor is not different from Rock's max armor you can get in the game. In fact it is the same except its gold. This figure is very nice and poses in a variety of positions as well. It's also a nice complement to the Gold Max Armor, I would recommend to a person who wants one of the rockman toys to actually 'play' with like I do.

Rockman (Megaman): Max Armor

This figure is also from the X series, it is the armor you can get from the various capsule's found in the game. The armor is the same as the gold and silver max armor but its plan white and true to the game.  This figure is very nice and poses in a variety of positions like the gold and silver max as well. I actually like this armor over the silver and gold, it's more defined that the other two.

Zero

This figure, also from the X series, is not a Rockman figure but another major player in the game (and series) Zero. Zero's armor is very different from that of Rockman, but is just as fun. He comes with accessories like a Sword (or whatever you want to call it). Zero is very, very nice and like all rockman figure fun to position and you guessed it 'play with.' But one thing Zero has that I think is cool, is a sword handle. It fits into his upper back, put up and waiting to be drawn.

Repliroid Vava MK II (Vile)

This figure is from the X series, and is Rockman's nemesis. With shoulder arsenal and shield, the Repliroid Vava MK II is ready to kick some tail. While not much is known about the RVMKII he seems to be out for Rockman no matter the cost. This figure is also very different from both Rock and Zero and looks very nice. Poses good too.

Rockman (Megaman): Regular Armor

This figure is from the X series, and is Rockman's regular armor. This is the armor you would start the game with. If you are looking to get figures from any of the Rockman lines this is the one to try first, or maybe the Ultimate Armor. But either way this armor is straightforward and doesn't do or come with anything special, but its just neat to have. Especially if you have one of the big machines that break down the walls that you can ride in (I forgot what they're called and don't have a pic.) However, this figure would probably be nice for completist.

Rockman (Megaman)

This figure is from the regular Rockman series and if you look at the picture is quite different from the X figure. These figures are much smaller and not as pose as good as the X lines. However they are just as detailed and fun. This figure is Rockman, and because of how the series works he doesn't get new armor. I personally like the regular Rockman series better for showing, but like the X series to 'play' with.

Forte (Bass)

This figure is also from the regular Rockman series, and is Rockman's nemesis. He is one of the best looking characters in my opnion and you can see him shooting you at the top of this page. This figure is essentially the same as Rockman as far as the body-type so posing is the same. This figure is my personal favorite.

Blues (Protoman)

This figure, also from the regular Rockman series, I'm not sure of his origin because of the translations from the Japanese games to the American games. So instead of putting the wrong thing I'll just put stuff about his figure. Go to a megaman site and look it up. This figure is like the rest but comes with a shield and nifty scarf. He's one of the coolest characters in the games and is very fun to pose with his shield. It can even snap into his back for easy storage.
