Whatever you call it, poetry is an art form which we turn to time and time again to express our innermost thoughts, hopes, sorrows, dreams, and desires. From the epic verse of Homer, to the sonnets of Shakespeare. . . .to the simplest nursery rhyme, a greeting card, or the lyrics to a favorite song. . . .it is a rare person who does not experience poetry, in some form, every day. Contains a collection of original poetry written by this Heartland Homesteader. She has organized her poems into categories, such as "Poetry of the Earth," Poetry of the Night," Poetry of the Heart," etc. Some of them are quite good.....her page design and layout are beautiful, as is the music she has chosen to set the mood for her pages. Very, very nice!!

Nicely done site has a reasonably good-sized collection of poetry by various authors. Poems categorized by subject: there are sections on sons, daughters, husbands, love, friendship, mothers, angels, inspirational poems, and on and on. Graphics on this site are wonderful, too.....this site is a feast for the eyes as well as for the soul!
