General Information about the Cone Site

This home page has been created by Allison Hurst and Jolene Osmun as a result of a budding interest in discovering our Cone roots. We started out linking up with other Cone researchers via email and before we knew it we had so many people involved and so much information being passed around that it became clear that we needed a platform for it that was accessible to everybody who is interested. We also formed the Cone List, which is a mailing list for circulating information to and between Cone Researchers. What you'll find here is the result of the research of many people over many years and we will do our best to give credit where credit is due (please read our Disclaimer). We will be updating and developing this page as more information comes to us.
Our intentions are to have pages here which give our known trees with links to email known researchers (please read Our Policy on Privacy ); transcribed vital records; transcribed textual references; biographical information; as well as links to other Cone related sites; an area for the theoretical; what we're working on; proven errors/warnings to other researchers; and, as space allows we will even have pictures!
