| Suzanne Raffa has owned and operated Combined Martial Science since it's conception in October,1993. "I took a chance with the idea I had for a business and ran with it. I never doubted for a minute it wouldn't be successful; between the experience my partner had in the martial arts and our love for children and the sport itself, it was hard to go wrong."Suzy" is the "woman" behind the scenes. "Although I train, I stay out of the teaching end of the business and leave that to my qualified instructors. And in turn, they leave all the sales, marketing, bookkeeping and public relations to me". Suzy is a single mom and a grandmother! She is currently majoring in Psychology at Chapman University working towards her B.S. She also works part-time as a case manager for a womens and children's shelter for the homeless. An avid hiker, Suzy has her own women's hiking club and spends most weekends out on the trails. When spare time allows, Suzy can be found on the racquetball court or spending time with her family. |
