Welcome to Suffolk Braves on the Web

The Suffolk Braves are a wheelchair basketball club who, founded in 1991 by a group of local players, have worked their way through the ranks to the 2nd Division of the Great Britain Wheelchair Basketball Association (GBWBA) National League.

We currently have 10 members (see “Players” page) who meet twice a week for training (see “Venues” page).  in the 1999/2000 season we have approximately 18 games to play (see “Fixtures” page) all over the country.  The Braves are getting prepared for the new season and some are coming to grips with new playing equipment which should improve their performance substantially.

Take your time and browse our site.  I am sure that you will find it of interest, even if only to amuse yourself in our “Photo Gallery”

Thanks for Visiting the Home of The Braves on the Web
