I used to have a pure silk (combination of pure raw silk and chiffon) Marilyn Monroe dress, skin tight to the knees, then the silk chiffon poofed out from the knee to the ground. It laced up the back from just above the crack in my ass. I was about 19 years old when I bought it. It cost $400.00. But I loved it so it was worth it. I never wore it. But my sister got married in it. She and the groom road off together on his motorcycle. Very romantic. Very sexy. That was the only time the gorgeous black dress was ever worn. After a couple years I threw it away. I guess it lasted a long time, comparatively speaking. My sister's marriage only lasted two months. Maybe five, or was that her second marriage...lol...

There was only one time I wore a wedding dress. It was for Halloween and I went to work dressed as a ghost bride. I bought a wedding dress with a long train for only $50 at a costume shop. I put on white face makeup, a long black wig, black fingernail polish, black eye makeup, black lipstick and made a bouquet of artificial black roses. My mom made the veil.
When pics were taken, my eyes came out red (as usual - ugh) so that made me look like a real demon!

I don't plan on ever wearing a wedding dress again...
unless Mr. Wonderful asks... :-)
But it wouldn't be white!
