Joseph Wells bought the Kerber Creek Ranch and moved from Leadville to Villa Grove when his last term as Lake County Clerk ended.

The picture of the young boy in the photographs may be my grandfather, George T. Wells, well known Denver Banker.

The lady on the far left is Mary "Molly"(nee Roach) Wells, my great-grandmother. I do not know the identity of the other ladies in the photograph.
