Mary!

The Mary Tyler Moore Page

I adore Mary Tyler Moore - ever since I was a lad back in the 60's. She is the quinticential beautiful, strong, and caring heroine and comedienne.

Mary!

I loved (I guess love, thanks to reruns) the Mary Tyler Moore Show. Great actors and actesses all. What a classic show. Following is a picture of the cast of the Mary Tyler Moore Show, it only took me 9 months to figure out how to get this to show up - - what a dope I am). I used to spend Saturdays at 9 p.m. glued to the tube every week watching that show. I was a stumbling, bumbling teenager in love with Mary (I am sure there were plenty of others) and all she represented.

From left to right front row: Betty White (she is very nice - - when I was at Auburn we inagurated the Allen Ludden Memorial College Bowl Tournament. She donated some items to the College Bowl Hall of Fame in his honour and was gracious and friendly). Georgia Engels and Mary. From left to right back row: Ted Knight, Gavin MacLeod, and Ed Asner.

Two important actresses were not in the previous snap (because they left the show by the time the previous snap was taken - - to go on to their spinoffs: Rhoda and Phyllis.

Valerie Harper as Rhoda with Mary.

Mary with Cloris Leachman as Phyllis.

Mary was, of course, also in the Dick Van Dyke Show as Laura, but that was before my time (I like the show, but not as mush as the MTM Show).

Morey Amsterdam as Buddy, Rose Marie as Sally, Dick Van Dyke as Dick, Mary as Laura, and that kid (what's his name?) as Richie.

Besides being the BIGGEST fan of MTM, I also LOVE Julie Andrews!

Pity the only movie they did together really stunk (Thoroughly Modern Millie). Although they are not together in this shot, they were both in this bomb. If you have a shot of the two of them in this flick (or any other shots of Mary), please let me know.

And my favourite, my autographed photo of Mary from 1976:

To the Julie Page !

Well, I will try to make this site better in the months to come.

Please stay tuned!

Thanks,

P.
