The establishment of HKOTSSA

In 1993, several Outstanding Service Award recipients were inspired by their diversified background. They thought that it would be a good idea to gather all the recipients to form a new voluntary organization to serve the community. The association is expected to take the advantage of the varied expertise and leadership skills of its members -- the award recipients. On this basis, the award recipients spent about a year on the preparation of the proposal. With strong support from the Hong Kong Student Service Associaiton and Innovations Fund, HKOTSSA was established on July 2, 1994.
