When you start to receive mail and request information from colleges, you might want to start organizing all this mail, or it will end up scattered all over the house and add to your junky room!!! This will also help you during your college research.
So it might be helpful to create individual files or folders for each college you are reasearching!
- Update the files often especially after you have visited the campus
- Keep written documentation of your impressions of your visit (pros and cons of the school)
- HIGHLIGHT important deadline dates on the outside of the folders to help you keep up with what college wants something from you on certain dates. This will really keep you organized!!!
