The videos and DVDs listed on this page are in PAL format, thus they work on Australian and UK video and DVD players with PAL TVs. Many new Australian video players have NTSC playback as well – this means you can play American and Canadian NTSC format videos. However, PAL videos and DVDs cannot be played on NTSC video and DVD players. DVDs have different "regions" like videos do.
You might find videos and DVDs in supermarkets (eg. Coles, Woolworths and KMart in Australia) or try on the Internet. Details below are subject to change as I do not have all these! Have any information to confirm or deny any entries? New videos or DVDs to add? Please send me an email.

My first Lassie video - I found it in a Woolworths supermarket, probably in 1990 as it was a new video. I was amazed to find that as I wasn't even looking for it!

I'm not aware of it being in Lassie: The Miracle. You sometimes see scenes in an episode that are reused from previous episodes, including different Lassie's. A perfect example of the latter is in the first ten minutes of Lassie: Joyous Sound.

On the video case back it says "Sean Kelly as Jimmy" - however, he is not in the credits. Stephen Hudis is the actor who portrays Jimmy.
Also on the case back is a picture of Lassie next to Jimmy's legs, with Lassie on the right. This scene is seen in the opening of this video, and shows the brace on Jimmy's left leg. Actually, the brace is on his right leg, as seen in the rest of the video. In the opening scenes that show the title and "Starring Lassie," the picture is flipped!

With Lassie are Old Toothless the mountain lion, a raccoon, an owl, a skunk, a tortoise and a porcupine - all trained by Ben Turner and his wife with their children, Jackie, Susan and little Ben junior.
Gene Fox, their Indian friend, comes to tell the family that land developers are trying to run his tribe off their reservation at Thunder Mountain in order to build a leisure centre. The developers are up to all sorts of dirty tricks, including letting savage dogs loose and even some hidden dynamite on the side of the mountain - but they haven't reckoned with the intelligence of Lassie."
