Crazy Girl has been doing the same exact thing since she was a little girl. Her uncle was a talented costume designer from New Orleans, who would send her fabulous creations he would make out of antique lace, rhinestones & fur. During school Crazy girl would day dream and draw cartoons instead of studying, once home she would change into one of her many fabulous outfits and go into her fathers recording studio & pretend she was a rock star and record herself free styling songs onto 8 track tapes… 20 something years later, she is still doing the exact same things…(by the way, she still has those recordings)...
Crazy Girl writes, produces, edits & arranges all her own music.
Her sound is some where in the ballpark of electronic based rock & roll, borrowing influences from 1960’s surf, 70’s rock, punk, funk, hip hop and many other genres. Along with her band – The Delusions of Grandeur” or D.O.G. for short, Crazy Girl has created an epic powerhouse sound soon to take over the world with the release of her debut album in summer 2005…
In addition to her music Crazy girl is also a skilled animator who makes cartoon videos to her songs. Her very first flash animated video for her track “High Fire Hell”, was picked up buy Remote DVD issue #4 (an underground video magazine featuring works of up & coming video makers, distributed in the US), her second video “Get Picked UP” was featured on the porn site Fleshbot and has since received many tens of thousands of downloads, & her 3rd video “Miss USA” a political satire has also received much acclaim…
