Candles

I strongly believe that candles have an effect on your life. Candles hold a magic power to them if you know how to use it. I'm not going to into that on this page. However, I WILL, tell you what the colors of candles can mean. You don't have to cast for the effects to work. Color is light and light is energy.The work of a candle is moving energy and translating energy into will and therfore performing magic.

White or Silver White is the presence and balance of all colors. You can trasnform a white candle into any color, spiritually; just combine it with that vibration. It is uased for protection, clearing, healing, meditation, purification, light, and blessing. White is good for all passages, birth through death, as well as devotionals to the moon. Gets rid of negativity. Yellow or Gold Happiness, joy, renewal, recognition, vitality, mental power, power, will and uncovering what is hidden. Light and encouragement of the sun. Good for bringing a soul mate kind of love, because the love that is attracted is based on friendship and joy. Out of joy often comes romance. Orange Success, especially in tasks of communication and writing. Adaptability, encouragement, and attraction of business and oppourtunities. Open doors and smooth business dealsing, Use Orange to gain concentration, vitality, health, and dynamic force. Green Money drawing, growth, healing of a woman or a growth-oriented medical issue. Good for attracting love, money, plenty, or success. Fertility, healing, abundance, attraction and/or deeping of love. Pink For love relationships, honor, affection, romance, and friendly feelings. More stable for love than red. (Also see yellow for attracting true love.) Red Red is about passion, passion for anything. It's for invoking lusty, powerful, and passionate energy or love. Red is a little dangerous. It's great for initiations, but whatever you are working on could burn out as rapidly as it started. It also can spur angry feelings. But this is great if you are already involved and want to stimulate lust or want to get going on a project.Excellent for fearlessness, energy, courage, strength, and skill in battles (of whatever nature). Blue Protection, peace, calm, tranquillity, soothing, deep justice, blessings, anger-reduction, and inspiration. Purple Draws in the highest divinity. Good for altar candles and devotionals (along with white). Also good for business success and expansion, joviality, generosity, and luck in court cases. Brown Grounding, stability, security, solidity, laws of Karma, earth and material plane, justice, integrity, finalization, completion, and wisdom. Black When you are feeling your lowest or blackest, use black to eliminate all negativity. Channel all negativity into the black candles as it burns. Then throw what is left far away from your house. Since black absorbs approximately 98% of available light, a black canlde does not emit vibrations; it absorbs. Think og coming into the light and out of the blackness. Some people are scared of black, because others use it for malefic purposes. If you feel tempted to use a candle for negative motivations, remember the magical law of doing no harm and use white instead. In addition, keep in mind that whatever you do will come back to you three times (even if you can justify that the person serves' some sort of retribution). Black is not to be use unwisely.
