MOMS ClubŪ
History
The MOMS club started in 1983 in California when Mary James, an at-home mother, decided that she was tired of being alone at home. She wanted to meet other at-home mothers and she wanted to find other at-home children for her children to play with.  When she discovered there were no organizations that met during the day and that allowed her to bring her baby and preschooler, she decided to start a whole new organization for at-home mothers, and the MOMS Club was born.

The MOMS Club started in Metro Columbus after Jodi Henley went to visit her sister in Arizona.  While there, she learned about the MOMS Club and came back to Columbus to join a chapter here. When she found that there weren't any, she started her own in 1998. That original chapter is now the UA/NW Columbus MOMS Club chapter.

The Clintonville chapter split off (or sistered) from that chapter in 2003 (along with Worthington) and became the Worthington/Clintonville chapter.

In 2006, the Worthington/Clintonville chapter grew to 75 members and the Worthington contingent was sistered to form their own chapter.

Thus the Clintonville MOMS Club was formed!

There are over 25 different MOMS Club chapters in the Metro Columbus area.  Please go to the MOMS Club website to find one in your area:
