The 1805 Tax List for Columbia Co., GA indicates that Isaac Jones was living "adjacent" to Nathan Jones. While Isaac is listed in the land lottery as a younger man, single without children, Nathan clearly has a family.
In 1810, Nathan Jones was living in District 15, of Morgan Co., GA (Lot. 219) on 100 acres on the Little River adjacent to a Sharon (my note: this is probably Shannon.). Another nearby Jones was Ephraim Jones living on lot 247, on Indian Creek.
A Nathan Jones married Tempy James on July 25, 1817 in Morgan County, Georgia
In 1820, Nathan Jones was living in Morgan Co., GA. He appears in the US Census on page 326, adjacent to Michael Whatley, Jr. and Ambrose Hailey. His age at this time places his birth year prior to 1775. Isaac Jones lives nearby and his age at this time places his birth after 1775. His actual birth year is believed to be 1783. Six younger males live in his household along with five females. The eldest female is also listed as being born prior to 1775.
In 1821, when Isaac Jones died in Morgan Co., GA, he held a "Service Account Book of Nathan Jones."
In 1821/22 when Isaac Jones's orphans won land in Monroe Co., GA (Land lot 58 Sec. 7), Nathan Jones of Morgan Co., GA also won land in Monroe Co., GA (Source Melissa Anderson).
A Nathan Jones married Sarah Hunt in Morgan Co., GA Feb. 6, 1823.
In 1825, Nathan Jones, Jr., was born in Morgan County, Georgia to Nathan Jones and his wife Sarah. (Same as above.)

Phillipini, Margaret, James, John, Mary and Jonathan. This Nathan married Cortney Bell in Edgecombe
Co., NC in 1763 and had children: Nancy, Allen, Sarah/Margaret, Mary/Polly,
Arthur, Thomas, John, Elizabeth, Jesse, Davis and possibly Asa. (Source:
Regina Roper). Nathan was left
200 acre tract on Upton Creek, Columbia Co., GA by his father John, in
his will.
7. Nathan Jones granted land in 1785 in Washington Co., GA (291 acres).
8. Nathan John Jones m. Catherine Greathouse before 1802. He was from Warren
Co., GA, she from Columbia Co., GA. Her father Jacob Greathouse held 45
acres on Germany Creek (Lot 4). He also held two other lots.
