Commemorative Historical Society
World War II Living History Museum
The Commemorative Historical Society (CHS) is a non-profit public
benefit educational society established in 1993, based in the San Francisco Bay
Area.
The CHS is a Department of Defense designated World War
Two Commemorative Community.
The organization formally exists for the purpose of instruction and recreation of the
life and time of the period 1939-1945. We are a non-political organization that participates in public displays, parades, honor guards, and living history events.
Our goal is to educate the public about the importance of honoring those who contributed so much to our nation and our freedoms during WWII,
preserving artifacts of the era, and to sponsor the growth and
development of reenacting as a highly rewarding, enriching, and educational hobby.
