The cross and the resurrection give us reasons for faith in all God's promises. At the cross Jesus shows us that faith in the most difficult moments will be rewarded.
Is there an ingredient more vital to unity than forgiveness? Sin is the ultimate cause of disunity. Forgiveness is the ultimate cure! At the cross Jesus cried out, "Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing."(Luke23:34)
Sometimes you must wrestle and struggle to understand what the cross is calling for, but it is worth all the fight to finally arrive at the cross, for there you will find the very center of God's perfect will.
