Welcome
and Well Met, Friends! This day we Welcome you to the Wedding of Maureen and
Ray!
This Wedding was made possible at this
Fortunate Date by the radio station WTPA, who saw fit to Award us for the
following Poem...
A Renaissance Wedding Poem
by Raymond and Maureen Dyer
(She is...)
...the glorious sun rising over the river...
...the lark singing from the branches...
...the other half of the rhyme...
...my cherished renaissance...
...my princess and queen...
...my love...
The Wise Men of the
Renaissance believed Angels sang the Music of the Spheres. We, too, hear that
music, together.
They will sing at our wedding
(He is...)
...my destiny.
...my comforting peace.
...my unending happiness.
...the answer to my question.
...the moonlight calling me forward.
...the sun illuminating the unclouded sky.
These hearty fellows helped make the event the success that it was. My Uncle, Lord Dyer (best man), Myself, Sir Brehm, Sir Henry and Sir
McCullough
Here we have the Groomsmen once again, feasting upon the finest turkey legge
in all Her Majesty's kingdom. Sir Brehm, Sir Henry and Sir McCullough
Many others helped to make the day a success. Here stands the noble Sir Roxby.
And here stand Sir Bustin and Sir League, two companions of ours from college.
And here I stand with my father, Lord Dyer.
Here, the gentle Sir Fabri receives a wooing lesson at the feet of the Lady
Cairns. Master Shakespeare himself looks on in the background.
"Surely, thou art a queen, but why is thy throne on wheels?" My mother, the Lady Dyer, accompanied by (from left) my cousin, Sir
Aaron, my Grandsire Freed, and my Uncle, Lord Freed.
Here again with my Mother's Parents, the Lord and Lady Freed.
And with my Father's Mother, the Lady Sandy.
And here, at the Gates of the Faire, stand several family members.
My Grandsire Freed, My Aunt, the Lady Janet, Lord Dyer (Best Man), Sir
Jim (Seated), My Aunt, The Lady Dyer, and My Grandmother, The Lady
Sandy.
We thank you for so graciously visiting our Album. Please, return again and
leave some of the happiness you bring.
