| Welcome! CGCI is a Christian counseling and training program that is Christ centered and biblically based. We combine the teaching of Jesus Christ with counseling to offer a program that provides a solid foundation for solving problems and achieving goals. CGCI Offices are located at Front Royal, Virginia, USA. CGCI offers a full range of services. In addition to individual, family and marital counselling, pre-marital counseling and testing are offered, as well as marriage enrichment. Counseling for teens and pre-teens is available for: ADD, ADHD, anti-social behavior, anger, lying, study skills and self-control management skills. Sessions for children of divorce and separation are also available. The Institute's founder, Director, and Counselor, The Rt. Rev. Larry W. Johnson, D. Min., was educated at Campbell University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University at Raleigh. Pastor Johnson earned degrees from each. He is a Graduate of Virginia Institute of Pastoral Care at the Nation's leading school for the training of Pastoral Counselors. He earned his doctorate from St. George's School of Theology at San Antonio. Dr. Johnson's ministry covers a period of twenty years during which he has served the poor, imprisoned and parishes in the hunt country of Virginia and along in the Blue Ridge Mountains. On February 27, 2001, he was made the Bishop of The Anglican Church of Virginia. Dr. Johnson has many years experience in treating and diagnosing various psychological conditions and problems. |
| Fees for counseling are on a sliding scale based on individual or gross family income. Counseling is offered in a very private setting near Front Royal, Virginia, a location west of Washington and easily accessible off of Route 66. Telephonic Conference Counseling is available for counselees that require this approach. Some counselees drive or fly in from surrounding states for intensive one or two day programs. There are accomodations for overnight stays for the intensive week-end programs. The nearest international airport is Dulles and the nearest private airport is at Front Royal.. |
