Researcher for hire has access to volumes of information on the Canadian Navy from 1914 to post WW2.

1. SERVICE FILES RNCVR (WW1) Service files are contained in two separte files, one administrative, second a record ships served on, peiods of service and all medal entitlement. Researcher has full access to these files.

2. SERVICE FILES RCN (WW2) Covered by Access to Information, researcher must prove death more that 20 years to have full access to file. Without proof of death only vetted documents of medal entitlement, postings and some other non protected documents will be released.

3. BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE A full coloured page from the Book of Remembrance is available showing name and date.

4. SHIPS LOGS Logs are available for most ships from WW1 & 2.

5. NAVAL LIST Covers late 1800's ending in 1964. Naval list cover Officers only and ships attached to at time of printing.

6. CITATIONS Many unpublished citations are available for gallantry awards as well as copies of all Canada or London Gazettes.
