Where are you from?
I’m originally from Shoreham-by-Sea near Brighton. I’ve lived and worked abroad, in London and across the UK, particularly in the south.

Earliest memory?
Having a living room picnic with other tiny tots on my 1st birthday!

Favourite place?
Here I’m a complete floozy! I love travel and each new place
I go to is my favourite for a while.

Favourite music?
That’s difficult; I studied music and my tastes are broad. A bit like travel, I love discovering new styles, and I’m interested in world music. Sometimes a bit of cheesy pop does the trick!

Any special qualifications / achievements that you’re proud of?
It has to be getting onto the postgraduate course at the renowned Cardiff School of Journalism - and qualifying.

First job?
Reading the evening news on BBC radio for
five local stations across southern England.

Best job?
I’ve enjoyed every job I’ve ever done in this business; I just love broadcast journalism! Particularly television reporting and presenting.

Dream job?
Something which combines my two biggest passions, journalism and travel.

How did you get started in what you do?
I volunteered for local hospital radio. Then I wrote for my university newspaper and worked for free for a commercial radio station in Brighton.

How long ago?
Since about 15 years old – so more than 5 years ago!

Where would you have been seen or heard since you started broadcasting?
Radio listeners in Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Dorset, East & West Sussex, Kent, Surrey, Berkshire and Oxfordshire would have heard me. And pretty much the same for television viewers. Plus the occasional appearance on BBC and ITV national television.
