Judy Pace

Ms. Pace guest-starred as a cashier in Death in Slow Motion, broadcast April 27, 1966, the first episode in the penultimate story shown of the first season of Batman.

The cashier is gassed by The Riddler dressed as Charlie Chaplin.

Ms. Pace's first lead role was as Eulice in American International's Three in the Attic.

Although the topic was sexually controversial, there was no real nudity in the film. The story was ground-breaking, both in its treatment of an African-American female character and in being told from, arguably, a feminist point of view.

Ms. Pace was a regular on Peyton Place for five months in 1969, among other TV appearances.

In 1970, Ms. Pace appeared in the sequel of sorts to Attic, entitled Up in the Cellar, with Joan Collins and Larry Hagman. Shortly following that, she was in Cotton Comes to Harlem and then Brian's Song.

She retired from acting in 1983. She was married to former All-Star St. Louis Cardinal centerfielder Curt Flood until his death in 1997.
