My name is Peaches and I am a blonde Pekingese girl.
I am 8 yrs. old and I live in Florida. I lived
in a GA puppymill until I was 5 1/2 yrs. old and was
turned over to a rescue group in December 2001. I was fostered by
my current mom who later adopted me to a very nice
lady in Orlando, Florida in February 2002. I was loved and enjoyed
being an only girl. But my adoptive mom went to the
Rainbow Bridge in September 2004 and I decided to return
to my foster mom. She immediately adopted me and said
she loved me so much, she could not let me leave her again.
I had large face flaps that were constantly rubbing my eyes
and irritating them. Mom took me to the vet ophthalmologist
and they recommended surgery to reduce the face flap to
help save my vision. I had surgery on December 14, 2004.
I had to wear a yucky e-collar for almost 2 weeks but it
was worth it. I have big beautiful brown eyes and just
love not having anything block my view. Plus nothing scratches
my eye all day.
I love doggie beds so my Mom started making lots and lots of
cozy cuddler beds just for me. I will grab a baby carrot
and race across the room and dive into a doggie bed and
happily munch on my carrot. Once I am done, I will patrol
the house checking to see if anyone else has dropped their
baby carrot or if I really stare at them long enough, they
will get up and leave their carrot for me!
I love all of my furbrothers and fursisters and their
webpages are listed below. Mom does foster other Pekingese
and Shih Tzu babies for Peke A Tzu Rescue. So please take a peek
at their website to see if you will fall in love with one
of the adorable angels there.
