My name is Jackson but you can call me Jax. (teehee it rhymes with
Pax and Bax) I am an 11 yr old Shih tzu boy.
I weigh 11 lbs and I was a rescue baby from a Shih Tzu rescue group.
My mom decided to foster me and drove to Jacksonville, FL
to bring me home. Well, as you would guess, she fell hopelessly
in love with me and decided a month later that she
wanted to adopt me on May 21, 2001.
I was a special foster boy because I was a biter. Which
was perfect considering my Mom is the queen of saying, "Bite me".
I was very scared of everything and especially of being touched.
After a month, I started to wag my tail, prance around and look happy.
Then I started playing with toys and the rest of the doggies here
at my house. Now I romp and bounce around like a young puppy.
I am the official Shih tzu welcome ambassador to
the new foster furbabies in our home. I keep
bugging them until they start learning how to
play with the other Shih tzu. Mom is very proud
of how her shy scared little boy is so outgoing with
other scared and shy foster babies.
When I finally chose to sleep in the bed with my mom she
was thrilled. I also love to wake mom up with
little Shih tzu Smooches in the morning. She
tells everyone that it is her very favorite part of
the day. As you can see, my hair has grown
out since I was adopted and mom keeps me in
a topknot with bows all of the time. I love
to prance around with my beautiful May Cross bows. Mom is very proud of me and thinks
that loving a Shih tzu boy brings more joy than any person could believe.
