My name is Baxter. I am a 4 year old Shih tzu boy and I live in FL. I weigh 34 lbs. which is kind of shocking for a Shih tzu. Actually, mom says I am perfect and I just have very heavy fur. I do a very cute head tilt when mom talks to me. I love to play with Paxton, my older Shih tzu brother. Also, just like most Shih tzu, I love playing with toys. Thank goodness, there are about 120 toys scattered all over my new home.
My mom adopted me on May 1, 2001. Mom brought me home to GA (where we lived at that time) from Jacksonville, FL. It was love at first sight. Although I had some dominance aggression issues, mom worked through them and we are very happy now. Mom said she knew that she had found her "Golden Boy" the moment she saw me. Mom pretended to foster me, but in her heart she had already adopted me. Originally, I had an adoptive home waiting for me, but fate stepped in and plans changed and the next thing I know, mom is jumping up and down screaming, "I have my Golden Boy".
If you are a wonderful person who deserves a precious Shih tzu to love and adore, please check out the rescue link below. Mom said I am her little gift from Heaven and she is the luckiest mom in the world. As some of you know, my Mom is bow and topknot crazy. She has a close friend, May Cross who is her "bow dealer". You have never seen an addiction until you see mom's addiction to beautiful Shih tzu bows.
My Mom volunteers with Peke A Tzu Rescue so if you are looking for the perfect cuddlebunny for your home, check out the link below for Peke A Tzu Rescue.
