Coffee. What is coffee? We all know that coffee is that black, aromatic drink that everyone (well, at least almost everyone) loves. It helps us get up in the morning, and acts as our fuel all the way through lunch. People who are hooked on this addictive stimulant can tell you that without it, they are total grumps. Much like a smoker to his cigarettes, a caffeine addict needs coffee everyday. In the US alone, almost three-fourths of the population drinks at least one and a half cups of coffee a day!

But is it the content and makeup of coffee that makes us crave it, or is it the taste that leaves the people wanting more? Because of the many effects (both good and bad) that coffee is said to have, there is also an array of products in the market that contain the scrumptious flavor of coffee. Ice cream, biscuits, wafers, candy, pastries...the list just keeps getting longer on what is available out there. And even with the millions of choices that a consumer is faced with, there is always room in his or her stomach for some delicious coffee treat. Personally, I feel that this is a good alternative to drinking coffee because these products aren't as addictive since it has less caffeine content. Plus, it is oftentimes incorporated into or an ingredient of some sweet delight. Coffee and sweets combined: what more can a person ask for?

So come on, spoil yourself a little. Forget about that diet and indulge in your favorite coffee fantasy. What's your favorite coffee treat?
