It's already december!  and guess what's comin' up next?  Christmas!  Yesterday, I just sort of went christmas shopping at Mitchell's.  Oh, I could have stayed at Mitchell's forever if I wasn't going to Auntie Grace's house for dinner last night.   Dinner was good, too, Auntie Grace!  Thanks Auntie!  And I made a Buttonman with janice, a ten year old girl.  She really reminds me of some childhood precious moments of making crafts at home.  Anyways, i can't believe how much money i kept spending these days.  well anyways, it wasn't even anything big, just some books formyself and then two boxes of Christmas cards.  inflation of Canadian Dollars, ye know!

besides, that, at new college where i live, we also had some christmas celebration.  Each house had to make decorations based on a movie or some type of theme.  My house Carr Whitton did "Wizard of Oz" throughout the hallway into our big Common Room.  It was a lot of hard work.  i haven't really put a lot of effort into helping, sort of bad on my part, and so i actually had a nightmare in my afternoon nap today, yelled at in my dream for not helping out.  While other CWgirls were acting the storyline out, twelve of us in the Common Room sang "We wish you a Merry Christmas" to greet the judges when they came in.  Oh, it was fun!  And later at the dance, they annonced that we came FIRST!  CONGRATS CARR WHITTON!  Good job girls!

Oh, talking about the DANCE.  It's definitely new to me, if not to you.  Tonight, I went to my first dance in life.  Yup, even though I was in a boarding school for two years where dances on Saturday evenings were popular, i never went to one, and always stayed in my own room to try to study.  (nerd!)  i know.  it was so bad.  Well, today, Jacqueline motivated me to go and hear the contest's results.  Oh, and when i got there, I couldn't even dance.  First i stood still while there was Much Music on, and while others were already dancin' so great.  Somehow, Kari helped me out and start me trying to at least move to the music.  I know it's silly that I am all nervous about a dance.  Anyhow, it was a breakthrough tonight.  At least I was trying.  It's fun, it's all good!

Congratulations!  Jenny!  on your baptism!  Brave are you in telling others Whom you are following!
North Toronto Chinese Alliance Church - for their Baptismal Worship Service to witness Jenny's Baptism today!  I might be too naive.  I saw an African family worshiping there.  I never have imagine that in a chinese chuch, but that indeed was very special.  I am still awe inspired to see that.
Right after communion, seriously, right after eating the bread and drinking the cup, Jacqueline and I had to rush out and take the cab.  It was 12:45pm, we called a cab because we had to head back to New College on time for J's library shift.  But in the taxi, the driver initiated a conversation.  He discussed the Islamic religion and Christianity with us.  Somehow, his accent makes him hard to understand.  But Jacqueline and I really tried to clarify to him how Jesus lived here, died and rose again.  Jacqueline also tried to let him see how Jesus is a personal friend to us, that we have a personal relationship with God.  We can feel so close and near to God and have hope for tomorrow.  We have tried, and prayed for him in the subway.  Lord Jesus, I ask you to please bless this man as he walks this path in life, and that you will bring in more Christians to minister to him and his family and lead him to know You, accept Your sacrifice and experience Your amazing love!

Despite the Exam Season's hitting in, as a fellowship (UTCCF) we went Carolling outside the Robarts Library at U of T from 6:30 to 7:40 tonight.  Sometimes, people stop by to watch, sometimes, they just give a glance and move on their way.  Those are important moments though, at least that someone knows that there are still Christians around and on campus, that Christmas started since and is still about Jesus!  Sweet was that a lady actually found out about our care packages, came to see us and actually joined us in singing!  Praise the Lord!  And may the Lord bless those who heard our singing, talked to us, and have thoughts stirred up because of our singing!

Exams are finallly done!  Hurray!  Though maybe not so well done... sigh... oh well....

After taking the flight UA 1039, via Chicago, in total for 19 hours, I finally arrived Hong Kong.  The ride wasn't to bad.  I ate two types of chicken rice at different times.  That was quite all right.

My parents and my sister greeted me with a big smile, big wave and a big hug!  It's exciting to be home, but this time something is changed.  My room is rearranged and my bed is new.  It's very comfy, but I am feeling a little puzzled, probably because it's new.  Yeah, I do have some mixed feelings.  I want to experience some wicked family time here.  But at the same time, I do feel a bit insecure and anxious to be here.  I don't have more than a few friends in Hong Kong.  And I am afraid to call them because I feel Iike I'd be bothering them.

I guess, I would try to give it sometime.  Why don't I do something fun today?
