Angel of God,
My gaurdian dear,
Through whom God's love commits me here,
Ever this day,
Be at my side,
To light and gaurd,
To rule and guide.

Well spent or ill, its story
Is written down for aye.
And now, of God's kind Providence
Thou image pure and bright,
Watch o'er while I'm sleeping,
