Page

Welcome,

Hi everyone, I am sad to say that after many many years of maintaining the Catholic Prayer Page on GeoCities, Yahoo had decided to shut GeoCities down permanently. I will keep the yahoo Catholic Prayer Page group open, but sadly, all those people that were able to find the prayer group through the Catholic Prayer Page site will no longer be able to. Hopefully, I will be able to find some other site to house the page, but if not, perhaps it is God's will that the page come to an end and fortunately there are now many many sites out there for people to find prayers. When I first started the page the Internet was still new and there were nearly no sites with catholic prayers. I wanted to always keep it free and never make even a penny from the site, as you can not sell prayers (well, as least you shouldn't). There is something about selling prayers or profitting from them that just seems so sacreligious. I am so happy to have been part of the history of the internet. I know of sites that have actually directly copied all the prayers off of my site for their own use. So be it, so long as it spread prayer and love to our Lord. I will be lost in the history of the internet, but in my heart, I am so glad I was a part of it and was able to bring some beautiful prayers to the entire world. May the Peace of Our Lord be with you all.

I have created this page of prayers, novenas, devotionals and links for those who have a desire to pray, and for those who want to know more prayers. This home page was not created to chastise or pass judgement on any individual, or group. God in his infinate wisdom gave us all free will, and through God's grace we will know to be at peace with ourselves. Only God will judge, both the sinner and the self-rightous.

Don't waste energy on things that generate worry, anxiety and anguish. Only one thing is necessary: Lift up your spirit and love God. -- Padre Pio

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the begining, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
